OVERVIEW:

This sign was born with a purpose. It serves as a 10 feet target on our basketball set up so our 7 years old son can practice elevating shots to the official level. It is a fun challenge to hit the target. It also helped strengthen his shooting arms.

Why don't I just put the rim at that height?

The main reason is so his younger sister can enjoy and learn basketball as well. He also enjoys it more when it's low. It helps build his confidence in the sport.
